Sudanese Lutheran Mission Society was successful by  Vicar Simon Ter Dup. He went to Maiwut four times, and he was built seven offices including the Church among those offices in Maiwut County.

Vicar Simon Ter Dup was involved to support the mission of Lutheran Church. In the year of 2000, Simon Ter Dup went to the mission and he was insert five Evangelists in school. Simon Ter Dup was opening seminary training school for the people of Lutheran Churches.  He also visit churches in the area of  Maiwut. Simon Ter went to Africa four times. He was built seven offices including the church. Those offices costs about $6550 U.S. dollars, and also the church was cost about $5000 U.S. dollars. All total of these money are $11,550 U.S. dollars. Also exchanged for Birr $11,550*8.66= $100,023. That is what he was spending to built those offices and one church in Maiwut. Simon Ter was done extremely job in his leadership. He was working hard than anyone in Lutheran Missions in MaiWut from 2000 to 2006.

Simon Ter was selected about 34 evangelists to go to school on the vary Churches in Maiwut. These people were receiving their certificates as an evangelist, and deacones. They were paying their food and clothes. This supported was promote the Lutheran Church mission Soceity in Southern Sudan.
